Marcellvs L. & Munan Øvrelid at Skaftfell Summer Exhibition (06/19/2014)
The Skaftfell summer exhibition 2014 is entitled RÓ RÓ and presents a group of local and international visual artists who are in an active contact with Seyðisfjörður, a village with 670 inhabitants in East Iceland. Some of the artists live permanently in the town, others own houses or reside regularly in the fjord. On exhibition are new or recent works, which are made locally or refer to the place, in the Skaftfell gallery as well as various sites and venues throughout the town. Parallel is an event program that will take place over the course of the exhibition.

Marcellvs L. at the 18th Contemporary Art Festival Videobrasil (09/09/2013)
The 2013 edition of the Contemporary Art Festival celebrates an important moment for the biennial show. The main Brazilian event dedicated to the artistic production from the geopolitical South (Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, South and Southeast Asia and Oceania) goes thirty. It is the only Brazilian international festival for contemporary art, with exhibitions, public activities, awards. As in previous editions, a major exhibition establishes a dialogue with the Southern circuit: besides the Southern Panoramas competitive show, this year the highlight is the three decades of experimentation and risk assumed by Videobrasil since 1983, brought together in the exhibition 30 Years.
Dates: 06 November 2013 – 02 February 2014 Opening: 05 November 2013
Marcellvs L. at the Berlinische Galerie (06/17/2011)
Over the course of one year, the IBB video lounge will present 12 artists who have drawn attention to themselves with innovative use of the media film and video in recent years. Documentary approaches will appear alongside strategies which reflect on and question the medium itself. Visual aesthetic experiments are also crucial to the works of those artists invited to participate.
